Dear Beloved Community,
We are saddened to share that Chef Julius Russell has passed away. He transitioned peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Chef Julius was an adored son, beloved brother, treasured family member, devoted partner, loyal friend and exquisite culinary artist. He meant the world to so many. He will be deeply and truly missed. We want each of you to know he loved being of service and providing delicious food experiences for you. Feeding people was one of his greatest joys. He was always so grateful to have his livelihood connected to what he really loved to do. A Tale of Two Chefs Culinary Arts Fund
In lieu of flowers or to offer a gift in honor of Chef Julius's memory, donations may be made to A Tale of Two Chefs Culinary Arts Fund. Donations will be used to support the education and professional development of emerging Black chefs in the Chicagoland area.
